Hi, I’m Leanne.

I've always been the consummate connector of women - a social alchemist, if you will - and the embodiment of female empowerment, so it’s very fitting that my first company’s motto was “Strong Women Uplift Each Other.” That enterprise was Uplift, a progressive fitness studio, female society, and female empowerment consultancy.

The natural pivot from Uplift was into a successful career as a sought-after business coach for founders and rising executives, as well as a consultant, where I work as a strategist with startups (both for-profit and non-profit) specializing in the building phase: building out teams and departments, new product/service verticals, new programs, or building the organization itself from the ground up. I bring a coaching sensibility to all of my work, which rounds out the tactical work we do with an up-leveled mindset for all of my clients.

Why is my company called Consciousness Raise Consulting?

Because it’s our time for power and equality.

Consciousness-Raising began in the 1960s as a way for Second-Wave feminists to gather and bring their so-called “personal” issues into public spaces, and, ultimately, to use them as catalysts for social change. In this work, we honor that legacy and apply the concept to the journey from inner shift to real-world impact - it's the inflection point where I help people and organizations scale progress and build their legacy.
